Talcampeón FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Ugaitz in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Larrañaga saved Talcampeón FC from getting behind. Gustavo Matosas's late challenge caught a Talcampeón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Matosas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Gustavo Matosas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Ugaitz came free, but Apolo Larrañaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Larrañaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Domiku in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Talcampeón FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
