Daniel Jopek hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Talcampeón FC's Pierre Fevre got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Talcampeón FC defense, Ernst Cakir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apolo Larrañaga. The Talcampeón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apolo Larrañaga should have stopped the shot. Apolo Larrañaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Cakir in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Andrés Villaseñor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Good saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 11 in the game by Rainerio Huidobro from a close distance when the talented Herbert Good managed to make a qualified save. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's players were relieved. Luca Tobler hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Herbert Good didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rainerio Huidobro went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rainerio Huidobro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Hilbe struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Apolo Larrañaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ. After 23 played minutes ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ got a freekick which was hit by Bernd Heid. After a rather tough play, Talcampeón FC's Pierre Fevre got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th match minute, Talcampeón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Payten to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainerio Huidobro in the 34th minute of play forced ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goalkeeper Herbert Good to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's zone, Rainerio Huidobro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Good came out of the goal and Rainerio Huidobro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rainerio Huidobro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Herbert Good made a huge save. In the 41st minute Rainerio Huidobro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Good saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viviano Despouy hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernst Cakir in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Larrañaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rainerio Huidobro to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goal looked a bit too open when Tanio Lezaeta came free, but Herbert Good reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernd Heid succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 55th playminute. In the 59th minute, Rainerio Huidobro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talcampeón FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After having played for 61 minutes, Andrés Villaseñor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talcampeón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrés Villaseñor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rainerio Huidobro took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Good. Herbert Good dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. 68 minutes into the match, Rainerio Huidobro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Good. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rainerio Huidobro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. In the 71st match minute, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pio Erne to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Cakir in the 73rd minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Roland Hilbe managed to get in a good position for a shot. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Hilbe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Larrañaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goal looked a bit too open when Rainerio Huidobro came free, but Herbert Good reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Good showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rainerio Huidobro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ernst Cakirs short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Apolo Larrañaga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ernst Cakir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Apolo Larrañaga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Herbert Good took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainerio Huidobro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Good made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrés Villaseñor in the 89th minute of play. Apolo Larrañaga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernst Cakir showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-3 in the 92 minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Talcampeón FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
