Olgierd Rozanski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th minute, Barış Usta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szczepan Gongola kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Ciro Buccella got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Buccella scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Seppo Palsola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Urmas Vuorinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Olgierd Rozanski made a huge save. Seppo Palsola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Buccella in the 32nd minute of the match. When Ciro Buccella came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Buccella couldn't finish the play. If Ciro Buccella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urmas Vuorinen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cezary Jaworski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W defense, Urmas Vuorinen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olgierd Rozanski. The Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olgierd Rozanski should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Palloketut's zone, Cezary Jaworski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seppo Palsola came out of the goal and Cezary Jaworski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Palloketut getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Aarre Lajunen hit a great ball. Ciro Buccella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Seppo Palsola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salomon Itäluoma made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Urmas Vuorinen immediately put the ball in play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ciro Buccella put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Seppo Palsola. After 91 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Jari Welling. After a defensive mix-up in Palloketut's zone, Ciro Buccella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seppo Palsola came out of the goal and Ciro Buccella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
