In the 21st minute Lucas Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Héctor Baley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Federico Anaya made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Erasto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Héctor Baley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Ricart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Anaya in the 31st minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Pablo Erasto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Melendez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Deportivo Mandiyu's Héctor Baley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Mandiyu from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Chale to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Oalo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Héctor Baley. Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 66 minutes, Fabricio Chale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Mandiyu and the La Candela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Chale didn't get a good kick on the ball.
