Confesor Zuaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With a little luck, La Candela FC's Pablo Erasto got control of the ball when Sergio Ontiveros tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benigno Ricart in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Confesor Zuaza saved AJ Juventus FC from getting behind. With a little luck, La Candela FC's Pablo Erasto got control of the ball when Dayam Carces tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Alfredo Rojas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Confesor Zuaza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Confesor Zuaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Ricart in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loi Icazate during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 0-4 became the score in the 43rd minute when Benigno Ricart elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garaile Marquez was the one to do the kick off. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Candela FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
