Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabio Rapa started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Benigno Ricart lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Nathan Sant. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Meerkats FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy De Battista didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Candela FC's Benigno Ricart got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gianluca Dalli charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gianluca Dalli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes, La Candela FC's Lucas Reyes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nathan Sant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Candela FC reached it. Benigno Ricart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Nathan Sant made a huge save. When Flavio Ariando fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Candela FC's protests and gave Flavio Ariando a yellow card for diving instead. Flavio Ariando hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Angel Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Rojass short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Nathan Sant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Taurino got free with Nathan Sant in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Timothy De Battista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meerkats FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Benigno Ricart 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. When Timothy De Battista fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meerkats FC's protests and gave Timothy De Battista a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Timothy De Battista. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benigno Ricart to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Ricart came free, but Nathan Sant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nathan Sant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Ricart's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Fabio Rapa got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Reyes. Pablo Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Rapa in the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lucas Reyes hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Alfredo Rojas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Ricart took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nathan Sant. Nathan Sant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. La Candela FC's Pablo Erasto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save La Candela FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Rojas in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathan Sant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nathan Sant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Ricart in the 80th minute of the match. The La Candela FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when La Candela FC's Benigno Ricart looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Angel Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benigno Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nathan Sant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nathan Sant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. La Candela FC's Pablo Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Rapa in the 90th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Ricart in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathan Sant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Meerkats FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Candela FC.
