Antanas Poška blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Erasto having to make a save. Pablo Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloyzas Jučas in the 9th minute of play. Miglius Beržinis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Rojas in the 11th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Benigno Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Candela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benigno Ricart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute of the match Aloyzas Jučas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Erasto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. La Candela FC's Pablo Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deividas Tarailis in the 19th minute of play. If Deividas Tarailis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Lucas Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Candela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Reyes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miglius Beržinis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algirdas Brazauskas in the 26th minute of the match. When FC COSA NOSTRA's Algirdas Brazauskas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Candela FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th minute, Benigno Ricart made a precise shot to the right of Miglius Beržinis. FC COSA NOSTRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of FC COSA NOSTRA booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Melendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Aloyzas Jučas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Erasto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Melendez during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC COSA NOSTRA booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Melendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Salinas's late challenge caught a FC COSA NOSTRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Salinas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Salinas to maneuver through the defense. FC COSA NOSTRA's Miglius Beržinis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Ricart in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Ariando to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in FC COSA NOSTRA's zone, Angel Taurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miglius Beržinis came out of the goal and Angel Taurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miglius Beržinis came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by La Candela FC's Benigno Ricart. But to his dismay, Benigno Ricart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Miglius Beržinis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes FC COSA NOSTRA got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Girnius. After a rather tough play, FC COSA NOSTRA's Jonas Girnius got a free kick in the 61st minute. La Candela FC's Alfredo Rojas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes FC COSA NOSTRA got a freekick which was hit by Alfredas Vaitkevičius. Miglius Beržinis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Rojas in the 66th minute of play. Miglius Beržinis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Rojas's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Jairo Frechoso kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when FC COSA NOSTRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredas Vaitkevičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Reyes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miglius Beržinis. FC COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goalkeeper Pablo Erasto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Algirdas Brazauskas. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC COSA NOSTRA! Antanas Poška received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pablo Erasto came out and tried to block the shot, but Antanas Poška slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 85th minute. After 91 minutes, Alejo Arnas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Candela FC and the FC COSA NOSTRA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alejo Arnas hit a great ball.
