When Ryan Mallia fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meerkats FC's protests and gave Ryan Mallia a yellow card for diving instead. Moises Hartz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Anaya took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nathan Sant. Nathan Sant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Anaya in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathan Sant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nathan Sant made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Fabricio Chale sent off a good shot on target. Fabricio Chale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Nathan Sant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Marcelo Barrionuevo got a free kick in the 65th minute. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Marcelo Barrionuevo hit a great ball. Deportivo Mandiyu's Hipolito Bizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Dalli in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Esdras to maneuver through the defense. Hipolito Bizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Teuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Nuno during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Luis Nuno hit a great ball. Antoine Miggiani charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A beautiful save bye Meerkats FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Meerkats FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo Mandiyu's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo Mandiyu.
