To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Meerkats FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Timothy De Battista hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Adan Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adrogue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Presebal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nathan Sant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cesar Quin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Teuma in the 20th minute of play. Cesar Quin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Teuma in the 21st minute of the match. Basilio Sarracino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Nathan Sant made a huge save. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nathan Sant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eleuterio Sansone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nathan Sant having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Rapa in the 47th minute of play forced Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Cesar Quin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislao Gaspard was the one to do the kick off. Cesar Quin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Rapa in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Teuma in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Quin saved Adrogue FC from getting behind. In the 53rd match minute, Adrogue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Fertus to maneuver through the defense. Nathan Sant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Gaspard's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Adrogue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Rapa came free, but Cesar Quin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Quin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cesar Quin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Teuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes of play, Meerkats FC's Antoine Miggiani made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesar Quin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cesar Quin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabio Rapa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, Adrogue FC's Ladislao Gaspard made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nathan Sant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Meerkats FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Adrogue FC throughout the match.
