The wind increased when Benedito Fiúza made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Carlos Maxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Merexildo made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Vilhelm Skoog. Deilmison van Basten might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agustin Orion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. ATHLETICO PRaiano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
