The audience thought a goal was coming when Cui Xiang Zhen got free with Inocencio Veronica in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Barral in the 34th minute of play. Jimmy Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Furia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Rafaela FC's Emiliano Furia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
