Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Cristi in the 4th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Vedholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of USA booed when Doffes Damer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Wincek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, USA's Zach Harrison got a free kick in the 11th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Edward Mcdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Mcdonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Vedholm in the 21st minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Göran Vedholm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Knut Utfal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldo Cristi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doffes Damer. In the 29th minute Doffes Damer were awarded a corner. Herbert Wincek went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 32nd minute, Ronaldo Cristi had to leave the field with a concussion. Doffes Damer's Inge Braa was substituted for Ronaldo Cristi. After 33 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Zach Harrison. Göran Vedholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inge Braa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Wincek was slow to take the kick. During this time Doffes Damer's players had a chance to rest. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inge Braa to strike the kick off in the second half. Inge Braa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 55th minute of the match. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Vedholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Doffes Damer's Herbert Wincek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Greid Tinsmith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doffes Damer's Greg Barrera was substituted for Knut Utfal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Greg Barrera got free with Marco Day in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inge Braa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Doffes Damer's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 75 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Inge Braa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Sam Campbell scored 1-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Greid Tinsmith, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Greg Barrera sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the USA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
