Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Diablos FC's Kaviedes Arrese started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaviedes Arrese. After a rather tough play, Diablos FC's Asencio Cuffaro got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor de Amorim having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Diablos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but João Vítor de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Suane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mexico's Leonardo Leoz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diego Riego in the 19 minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Diablos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but João Vítor de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Diablos FC defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Vítor de Amorim. The Diablos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Vítor de Amorim should have stopped the shot. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. João Vítor de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaviedes Arrese in the 36th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 41st minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Diablos FC's João Vítor de Amorim. João Vítor de Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Asencio Cuffaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Asencio Cuffaro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Reimundo Casado in the 58th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diablos FC's João Vítor de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but João Vítor de Amorim made a huge save. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaviedes Arrese in the 69th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. João Vítor de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaviedes Arrese, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Diablos FC were awarded a corner. Sydney Alcântara went to the cornerflag to take it. Diablos FC's João Vítor de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Diablos FC from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Diablos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but João Vítor de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Facundo Cadaval lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Reimundo Casado took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Hostos in the 89th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Hostos in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute Kaviedes Arrese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diablos FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
