Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Pardo kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Peter Mpenza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Mpenza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. The Canarinho Atordoado fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Canarinho Atordoado's Peter Mpenza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Paraguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luiz Leo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Peter Mpenza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Canarinho Atordoado's Peter Mpenza. But to his dismay, Peter Mpenza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 44th minute, Luiz Leo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Mpenza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Paraguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Canarinho Atordoado were winning 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Mpenza to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Peter Mpenza lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Luiz Leo sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, Peter Mpenza notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Leo went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-11 when Peter Mpenza sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. When Juan Diego Tenorio fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Juan Diego Tenorio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Diego Tenorio to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Luiz Leo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canarinho Atordoado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Mpenza in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. After 80 minutes of play, Canarinho Atordoado's Peter Mpenza made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Leo got free with Jacobo Nores in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Leo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Márcio Seabra made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. Fabián Nesta kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Luiz Leo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Nores. The goal made the score 0-14.
