Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 10th minute, Amarante Gibert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Baudelio Echavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Junta De Los Rios CF's Amarante Gibert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Amuruza Lillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané Balcells received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Amarante Gibert came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Amarante Gibert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Junta De Los Rios CF's Celestino Marques was substituted for Baudelio Echavarri. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amarante Gibert, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amuruza Lillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amarante Gibert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Carballido in the 68th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amuruza Lillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amarante Gibert in the 87th minute of play. Amarante Giberts short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Amarante Gibert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The Uruguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Junta De Los Rios CF's performance. The match ended with a win for Junta De Los Rios CF.
