Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Esbjörnsson in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Camboyanos's Matthias Esbjörnsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Camboyanos's Luís Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Fernandino in the 10th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matthias Esbjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Esbjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikitas Karachalios. When Alfonso de la Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Alfonso de la Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Camboyanos booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso de la Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camboyanos were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Bolivia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Danilo Estefan took the corner. Camboyanos's Alfons Deckers suffered a concussion after 36 minutes and had to leave the field. Luís Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Ferrant stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Ferrant might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Guimarães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Ferrant ran back to his position shaking his head. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikitas Karachalios in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Matthias Esbjörnsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthias Esbjörnsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Nikitas Karachalios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Camboyanos's Matthias Esbjörnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikitas Karachalios in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bolivia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Danilo Estefan was slow to take the kick. During this time Camboyanos's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Camboyanos's Danilo Estefan to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Freixa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 91st minute, Danilo Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Estefan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Camboyanos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
