With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Cleiton Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's José Augusto Brito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Mascote FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with William Rosa in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but William Rosa made a huge save. William Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Isaltino Brito in the 95 minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
