Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Boruc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Boruc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 28th minute of play. Chile were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Joga Bonito's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. After 30 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Andy Symons. 35 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luo Wei Xi in the 39th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luo Wei Xi in the 39th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Carballar couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luo Wei Xi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. When Joga Bonito's Luo Wei Xi in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Artur Boruc. Joga Bonito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 88 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Jansson came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Artur Boruc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. 96 minutes into the game, Luo Wei Xi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chile players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Joga Bonito.
