With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krzysztof Adamski saved REAL MADRID FC from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Patrick Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Krzysztof Adamski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lynkeus Plevritis in the 38th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, REAL MADRID FC's Patrick Netto got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Emanuel Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krzysztof Adamski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in REAL MADRID FC's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Adamski came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo suffered a sore thigh after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 62 minutes, Patrick Netto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REAL MADRID FC and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes REAL MADRID FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Netto. The crowd rose to their feet as REAL MADRID FC's Lynkeus Plevritis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 0-1 after 66 minutes of play. Christian Sancho hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. REAL MADRID FC's Lynkeus Plevritis got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Krzysztof Adamski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
