The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Mateusz Hajto in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Nieciece's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Mateusz Hajto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mateusz Hajto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 63rd minute of play. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateusz Hajto. Mateusz Hajto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Mateusz Hajto in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mateusz Hajto was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Lautaro Mancebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Mateusz Hajto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Nieciece's Mateusz Hajto got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateusz Hajto having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
