Peter Rapoš was slow to take the kick. During this time Bodovce FK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Bodovce FK's corner Peter Rapoš fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. In the 30th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 34th minute. Bodovce FK's Marek Patráš got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Marek Patráš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodovce FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Patráš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Bodovce FK's goalkeeper Ivan Fogaš had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 44th minute, Matúš Kračún hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marek Patráš was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Bodovce FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Čermeľ didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 played minutes Bodovce FK got a freekick which was hit by Matúš Kračún. After having played for 59 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 92 minutes of play, Bodovce FK's Marek Patráš made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
