When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Iskandar de Lara took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Iskandar de Lara. But to his dismay, Iskandar de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Resul Suel got a free kick in the 18th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iskandar de Lara in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hasan Ali Ünalmış was slow to take the kick. During this time 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Hasan Ali Ünalmış to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 30th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. If Iskandar de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Iskandar de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1901 Black Stockings F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Murat Selim Enginsoy hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Alkın Uğursoy. Alkın Uğursoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 46 minutes, Iskandar de Lara made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkın Uğursoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Iskandar de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Iskandar de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iskandar de Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iskandar de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Iskandar de Lara notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iskandar de Lara took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. 67 minutes into the match, 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goalkeeper Alkın Uğursoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. In the 69th match minute, 1901 Black Stockings F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Resul Suel to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iskandar de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iskandar de Lara in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Iskandar de Lara made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iskandar de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alkın Uğursoy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goalkeeper Alkın Uğursoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita.
