Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Queiroz came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Queiroz in the 8th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes BloodHounds F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Nascimento. Astor Ruy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match USA got a corner. BloodHounds F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jenson Smith scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Astor Ruy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monty Rogers got free with Astor Ruy in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute of the match USA got a corner. BloodHounds F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Diego Bradley almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BloodHounds F.C.'s Astor Ruy did a great save. In the 30th minute, Cassius Byrne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anak Agung Štriker, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Astor Ruy in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BloodHounds F.C. were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mesut Özil took the corner. The corner led BloodHounds F.C.'s Mesut Özil to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Astor Ruy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monty Rogers in the 42nd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anak Agung Štriker made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Ruy was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 54th minute, Cassius Byrne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Ruy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by BloodHounds F.C.'s Ivo Queiroz. But to his dismay, Ivo Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 70 minutes of play, USA's Cassius Byrne made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Astor Ruy was left in no man's land by his defense there! USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Astor Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jenson Smith in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as BloodHounds F.C.'s Elias Chico slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Day. That made the score 3-2 after 97 minutes of play.
