Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Toader Vlădean made a huge save. In the 26thth minute of the game Ernest Cumpanașu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Cumpanașu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernest Cumpanașu in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ernest Cumpanașu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after FC Henger ATI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Toader Vlădean quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernest Cumpanașu to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alin Haidău during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alin Haidău hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 55 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Toader Vlădean came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Thanks to some nice moves Ernest Cumpanașu could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. Toader Vlădean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Vlădean having to interfere. Ernest Cumpanașu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With 68 minutes on the clock, Gelu Lupea commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of FC Henger ATI:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Toader Vlădean. 1-1. Toader Vlădean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 80 played minutes FC Henger ATI got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Rădescu. FC Henger ATI's Toader Vlădean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 84th minute of play. Toader Vlădean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Sever Zbârcea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toader Vlădean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toader Vlădean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes FC Henger ATI got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Hăulică. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Henger ATI to leave the ground with a draw.
