Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvestre Urre kicked off to start the match. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felippe Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felippe Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felippe Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to El Cementerio getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jorge Silbestre hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Silbestre charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Silbestre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jorge Silbestre hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Felippe Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 72 played minutes El Cementerio got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Distiratsu. Daniel Zorita got in the 73rd minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Felippe Lima and thus it was 0-1. If Silvestre Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timoteo Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Cementerio made a substitution. Basilio Satordi replaced Alonzo Blanco. After a defensive mix-up in El Cementerio's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felippe Lima came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led El Cementerio's Silvestre Urre to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
