Jamaica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Roma the free kick. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Leron Sale got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Cosimo Maccarone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AC Roma getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Antonio Cerasoli hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Karlus Waugh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Cirone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Cosimo Maccarone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Orlandi in the 19th minute of play. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Maccarone in the 21st minute of play. After 24 minutes AC Roma's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Finlay Stair who took care of the corner kick. 29 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Cisek came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Cirelli in the 30th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Orlandi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Cosimo Maccarone made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 35th match minute, AC Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Orlandi to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Jamaall Padmore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlo Cirone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Cirelli in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Cirone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Jamaica booed when AC Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Tieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Finlay Stair made the kick off in the second half. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Ciro Orlandi sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute, AC Roma's Cosimo Maccarone dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Ciro Orlandi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica's zone, Ciro Orlandi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal and Ciro Orlandi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Orlandi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 60th playminute. Jamaica's Jarell Hill got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Finlay Stair came free, but Carlo Cirone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Fabio Cirelli sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Fabio Cirelli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Demonde Jacobson, 0-5. AC Roma's Carlo Cirone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Vaiani. After 78 played minutes, Jamaica's Geroy Ascue shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlo Cirone came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jamaica reached it. Thanks to some nice moves Ciro Orlandi could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Demonde Jacobson however easily saved by the left post. Fabio Cirelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Czeslaw Cisek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Kordal Duff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Emilio Di Fazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarell Hill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Carlo Cirone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Cirelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
