In the 23rd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyubcho Karadachki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manchester United F.C.'s Lyubcho Karadachki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Lyubcho Karadachki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Elin Popovski in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Elin Popovski made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Lyubcho Karadachki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Exequiel Zeballos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Exequiel Zeballos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Lyubcho Karadachki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albin Apelquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Peru booed when Manchester United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Gonzales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyubcho Karadachki having to interfere. In the 74th minute Exequiel Zeballos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Exequiel Zeballos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. 85 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s goalkeeper Lyubcho Karadachki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Exequiel Zeballos's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Manchester United F.C.'s Parvan Dakelov was substituted for Exequiel Zeballos. Manchester United F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
