Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nichifor Borăscu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lionel 柯景亦 to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Casaus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rouven Nussli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Percival Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Nichifor Borăscu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nichifor Borăscu might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nichifor Borăscu ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nichifor Borăscu. 29 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Rouven Nussli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alan Tamayo got a free kick in the 34th minute. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A nice corner shot did that Carlo Gerick got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rouven Nussli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them.

A collision led to International Thunders getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lionel 柯景亦 hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Nichifor Borăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Borăscu in the 68th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Borăscu in the 75th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of International Thunders booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Nichifor Borăscu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chile's attentive Pedro Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Gernot Kellner made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, Nichifor Borăscu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nichifor Borăscu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Figueroa in the 90th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Rouven Nussli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rouven Nussli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chile players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for International Thunders.
