Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manfredo Zanussi took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosme Paris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Gagoneta's Dionisio Elazar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 12 minute of the game. In the 16th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Manfredo Zanussi sent off a good shot on target. After 18 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Manfredo Zanussi in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cosme Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when La Gagoneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Oliverios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosme Paris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. After some careless play in the La Gagoneta defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Paris. The La Gagoneta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Paris should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Manfredo Zanussi sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manfredo Zanussi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 41 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to La Gagoneta getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tymoteusz Cetnar hit a great ball. Manfredo Zanussi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Manfredo Zanussi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfredo Zanussi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. La Gagoneta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tymoteusz Cetnar in the 66th minute. Victor Cristofor hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Zanussi in the 70th minute of play. Manfredo Zanussi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Zanussi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cosme Paris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfredo Zanussi's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Zanussi in the 82nd minute of play. Cosme Paris made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. La Gagoneta's Cosme Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
