Chevelle1968's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chevelle1968 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Juan Pirmin had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Mateo Leguizamo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Chevelle1968's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Juan Pirmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hu Feng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillem Agulló sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavril Voineag made a great header on Chevelle1968's corner, it was just that El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita managed to reach the ball for a save. 32 minutes into the game, Chevelle1968's Guillem Agulló nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavril Voineag stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricardo Zorita. 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Saverio Pagomari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Guillem Agulló managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chevelle1968's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillem Agulló was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Saverio Pagomari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Guillem Agulló sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 75 in the game by Saverio Pagomari from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Zorita managed to make a qualified save. El Salvador's players were relieved. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. If Guillem Agulló had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Hu Feng capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hu Feng really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Freddy Furman might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Furman ran back to his position shaking his head. Saverio Pagomari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. When the match was over Chevelle1968 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Salvador throughout the match.
