Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jean-Paul Schuiling made the kick off which started today's match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 2nd minute of the match. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mariano Bombarda came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the SV Wissenkerke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Bombarda couldn't finish the play. Gerjan Staarman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jean-Paul Schuiling sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 22nd minute, Gerjan Staarman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Gerjan Staarman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Gerjan Staarman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Jean-Paul Schuiling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Jean-Paul Schuiling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After 45 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. After 47 played minutes SV Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Bombarda. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SV Wissenkerke were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. When Gerjan Staarman came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the SV Wissenkerke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerjan Staarman couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, SV Wissenkerke's Gertjan Baars sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gerjan Staarman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Jean-Paul Schuiling reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 1-4. A collision led to SV Wissenkerke getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ronny Koole hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Gerjan Staarman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, SV Wissenkerke's Jean-Paul Schuiling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Jean-Paul Schuiling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes SV Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Sjors Breugel. In the 81st minute, SV Wissenkerke's Gerjan Staarman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 84th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 93rd minute of play.
