Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Wasyl Redisz fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rayland FC's protests and gave Wasyl Redisz a yellow card for diving instead. Wasyl Redisz kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Joel Bertol in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Bertol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute. Endrick de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Bertol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Jose Correa suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After a rather tough play, Rayland FC's Endrick de Souza got a free kick in the 27th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Bannister in the 29th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. The Rayland FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Rayland FC's Roger Bannister looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rayland FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Bannister was the one to do the kick off. Wasyl Redisz was shown his second yellow card after 50 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Joel Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Roger Bannister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Bannister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Joel Bertol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rayland FC's goalkeeper Joel Bertol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Eloi Bermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Bertol having to interfere. Ximun Zaldos kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Enrique Pozo hit a great ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Rayland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximun Zaldos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 minutes, Ximun Zaldos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rayland FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Rayland FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rayland FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
