Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. After 4 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Rey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Universitario Pincharrata's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Freddy Rey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Rey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cristian Sancho sped through Universitario Pincharrata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddy Rey. After a defensive mix-up in Universitario Pincharrata's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Rey came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freddy Rey having to make a save. Cristian Sancho spun around in front of the goal 24 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Universitario Pincharrata's goal. 26 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luis Andino. Freddy Rey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Freddy Rey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Rey saved Universitario Pincharrata from getting behind. After 35 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Rey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Universitario Pincharrata's Freddy Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 39th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Alejandro Sabella in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. Primitivo Andino made in the 47th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. The Universitario Pincharrata players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Mattin to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Rey. Freddy Rey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Agustín Saelices let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 55th minute shot 0-7 at rihgt post. Universitario Pincharrata's Freddy Rey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Universitario Pincharrata from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Universitario Pincharrata's Freddy Rey got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agustín Saelicess short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Freddy Rey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 72nd minute of play forced Universitario Pincharrata's goalkeeper Freddy Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Rey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Luis Andino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Freddy Rey in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Universitario Pincharrata's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Rey came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. Universitario Pincharrata's Freddy Rey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
