Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 38th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thiago Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. Wlodzimierz Kochanowski was slow to take the kick. During this time SCs StarS's players had a chance to rest. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of play. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Thiago Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Petr Čech in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88thth minute of the game Florian Hekman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
