Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fabiano Trabucco made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Caleufú's Alejo Urtsin got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Alejo Urtsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. 10 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejo Urtsin. Caleufú's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 18 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Tomas Berganza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alejo Urtsin. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. Caleufú's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tomas Berganza 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. When Norberto Manex fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caleufú's protests and gave Norberto Manex a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caleufú getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Norberto Manex hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Urtsin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejo Urtsin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejo Urtsin was a little too slow when Isidoro Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 5-0. Alejo Urtsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Alejo Urtsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Rico in the 44th minute of play. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Caleufú's goalkeeper Alejo Urtsin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Berganza scored 6-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejo Urtsin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Urtsin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 61st minute of play forced Caleufú's goalkeeper Alejo Urtsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejo Urtsin having to make a save. Alejo Urtsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Caleufú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Rico to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Caleufú's zone, Alex Cambeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Urtsin came out of the goal and Alex Cambeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panama's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
