Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Burufski in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Gu Peng Guo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 34 minutes, Osvaldo Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKS Kozienice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute of play forced AKS Kozienice's goalkeeper Kacper Prosowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Edward Brodzki sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Burufski in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Brodzki to make the kick off. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Osvaldo Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Lucjan Burufski took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The throw-in from Alex Chicote in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AKS Kozienice's Ren Feng Guang. Lucjan Burufski might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucjan Burufski ran back to his position shaking his head. Dobromir Chodzinski's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dobromir Chodzinski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AKS Kozienice getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dobromir Chodzinski hit a great ball. In the 83rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ren Feng Guang during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when AKS Kozienice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ren Feng Guang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Burufski in the 92nd minute of the match.
