The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mevlüt Devan helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Süleymaniye's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ataman Mülayim came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçek Acem came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's attentive Sebastian Villa managed to snatch the ball when Mevlüt Devan made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Ataman Mülayim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Honduras failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
