The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Casado in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruben Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Casado came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa had several of the Colognese FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Alfredinho Carneiro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredinho Carneiro having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Alfredinho Carneiro in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Chile's Orlando Casaus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredinho Carneiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Edgard Batista came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Colognese FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Batista couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Batista came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes, Matej Ďuračka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colognese FC and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvério Barreto hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Colognese FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Xavier Figueroa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Guillermo Fontirroig made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Orlando Casaus however managed to control. After 90 minutes, Ioan Cocârlă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colognese FC and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Colognese FC got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Cocârlă. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 94th minute of play forced Colognese FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
