Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Colognese FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Batista to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Casado in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Colognese FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Cadaval. In the 9th minute, Ioan Cocârlă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Carneiro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Casado in the 12th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredinho Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ruben Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colognese FC's Alfredinho Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute of play. Alfredinho Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Colognese FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Andreas Pereira hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of Colognese FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colognese FC's Edgard Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Colognese FC's Edgard Batista. But to his dismay, Edgard Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Casado to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Colognese FC's Ruben Casado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredinho Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 77 minutes into the match, Colognese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Alfredinho Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes in the game, Luca Zorita dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Batista got free with Dante Lacasa in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Colognese FC defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredinho Carneiro. The Colognese FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredinho Carneiro should have stopped the shot.
