Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manole Tăcutu kicked off to start the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Ţurlău in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Sabin Cândroveanu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Puig scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ana Ţugui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ana Ţugui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the -BZF- Valea Buzăului defense, Axel Tasis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ana Ţugui. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ana Ţugui should have stopped the shot. After 19 minutes of play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Gelu Jumancă made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hugo Ferrant made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Sabin Cândroveanu. In the 23rd minute, Gelu Jumancă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Claudiu Bădulescu. Efrain Moruga made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Claudiu Bădulescu. Ana Ţugui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Tăcutu in the 46th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Manole Tăcutu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes, Claudiu Bădulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Valea Buzăului and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Sabin Cândroveanu. Ana Ţugui came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Ana Ţugui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 70th minute of play. Gelu Jumancă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Ana Ţugui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Tasis made a great header on Costa Rica's corner, it was just that -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Ana Ţugui managed to reach the ball for a save. Efrain Moruga made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Claudiu Bădulescu. Hugo Ferrant made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lautaro Puig immediately put the ball in play. In the 87th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ana Ţugui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Efrain Moruga with Aaron Alcocer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 91 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig.
