Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 17 played minutes, Bodovce FK's Peter Rapoš shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bodovce FK reached it. Bodovce FK's Ivan Fogaš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ivan Fogaš could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Bodovce FK's Marián Fabula got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Fogaš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Rapoš hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of play forced Bodovce FK's goalkeeper Ivan Fogaš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Patráš in the 36th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bodovce FK's Marián Fabula got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bodovce FK's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Fogaš came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Fogaš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Fogaš didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Patráš in the 75th minute of play. Marek Patráš took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Bodovce FK's Ivan Fogaš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 80th minute of play. Ivan Fogaš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Bodovce FK's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Ivan Fogaš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ivan Fogaš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Fogaš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bodovce FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ivan Fogaš in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
