Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hugo Alcântara started the match with the kick off. When Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cadu Team's goalkeeper Gelu Lepuș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mazinho Barreto during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Barreto. Gelu Lepuș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Válbson Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Válbson Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Mattias Downing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto da Rocha. Válbson Paiva struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadu Team. Válbson Paiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Válbson Paiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Paiva in the 34th minute of the match. Gelu Lepuș made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Roberto Ocampo sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Roberto Ocampo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zé Carlos Gerber made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Válbson Paiva. In the 48th minute, Válbson Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cadu Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cadu Team were winning 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Ocampo in the 55th minute of play forced Cadu Team's goalkeeper Gelu Lepuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Cadu Team's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Ocampo came free, but Gelu Lepuș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. In the 71st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Válbson Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Hugo Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Cadu Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Alcântara couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cadu Team getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ediberto da Rocha hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Joshua Secada sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gelu Lepuș skillfully saved the ball. Mattias Downing hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Gelu Lepuș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Ocampo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Roberto Ocampo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gelu Lepuș was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Roberto Ocampo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gelu Lepuș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Cadu Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cadu Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
