Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Válbson Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadu Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Válbson Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Cadu Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válbson Paiva couldn't finish the play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of play forced Cadu Team's goalkeeper Gelu Lepuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Válbson Paiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Cadu Team's attentive Renato Barral managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Válbson Paiva sent off a good shot on target. Mário Secco's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Cadu Team's Ediberto da Rocha managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Mariano in the 47 minute of the game. Gelu Lepuș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 80 minutes, Válbson Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válbson Paiva's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 2-1 became the score in the 85th minute when Válbson Paiva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
