Karlus Waugh might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Pacho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karlus Waugh ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Mendiko came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Finlay Stair might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Pacho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Finlay Stair ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Graneros booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graneros's Bernardino Pacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Jeremias Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Ruisko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. Romon Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. With a little luck, Graneros's Bernardino Pacho got control of the ball when Finlay Stair tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javan Develder to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 47 minutes, Luis Musko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graneros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Musko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Jamaica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Graneros were winning 0-2.

In the 63rd minute Luis Musko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Julio Hats ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Julio Hats sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Finlay Stair in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardino Pacho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casimiro Eliu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Finlay Stair notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Graneros's Bernardino Pacho. Bernardino Pacho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Graneros's Bernardino Pacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romon Oliver in the 83rd minute of play. After 87 minutes, Serafin Louis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Graneros and the Jamaica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Graneros got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Louis. 90 minutes into the game, Finlay Stair cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Bernardino Pacho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
