In the 22nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Francisco Barrionuevo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tunç Akkaya in the 29th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Francisco Barrionuevo as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Boğaçhan İslamoğlu hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. ALASKU TSG's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
