Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from René van Hintum in the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FFC Merainies 03's Ferdinant Eulen got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Arda Bemmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. FFC Merainies 03's Bertus Waldijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koos de Kort could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in FFC Merainies 03's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertus Waldijk came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the FFC Merainies 03 defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertus Waldijk. The FFC Merainies 03 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertus Waldijk should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, one of FFC Merainies 03:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FFC Merainies 03. FFC Merainies 03:s Bertus Waldijk showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Bertus Waldijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. Luis Andino scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertus Waldijk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Bertus Waldijk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bertus Waldijk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koos de Kort to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bertus Waldijk, passed just outside the right post. Bertus Waldijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 65th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Bertus Waldijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bertus Waldijk was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertus Waldijk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Andino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 71 minute of play. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Bertus Waldijk made a huge save. After 76 minutes FFC Merainies 03's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig to fire away a dangerous shot which Bertus Waldijk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bertus Waldijk. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertus Waldijk having to interfere. A very nice done corner allowed Cristian Sancho to score against Bertus Waldijk in FFC Merainies 03's goal. 0-7 after 84 minutes. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FFC Merainies 03's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertus Waldijk came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertus Waldijk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FFC Merainies 03 throughout the match.
