The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zebastian Bergfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Emiliano Caiola was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Emiliano Caiola got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Caiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emiliano Caiola, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zebastian Bergfeldt took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ralph Roeles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Caiola came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Zebastian Bergfeldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Karel Kimman got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralph Roeles came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebastian Bergfeldt in the 33rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Karel Kimman in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. In the 37th minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Jan de Vlieger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Bergfeldt in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan de Vlieger got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 minutes, Rigoberto Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emiliano Caiola who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Zebastian Bergfeldt advanced and headed the ball into goal, 5-0 in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ralph Roeles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 61st minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting a goal against them. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 66th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Jan de Vlieger. But to his dismay, Jan de Vlieger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 72 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jan de Vlieger came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Karel Kimman in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan de Vlieger, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Caiola in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Jan de Vlieger notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute of play. Emiliano Caiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When Rigoberto Mina was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played.
