But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 21st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Haydar Yalaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Raaojen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto George didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Haydar Yalaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Haydar Yalaz was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Haydar Yalaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Bastiaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Arnulfo Bastiaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Raaojen's goalkeeper Mustafa Haydar Yalaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Mustafa Haydar Yalaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Bastiaro in the 59th minute of the match. Raaojen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Agustín Saelices scored to the left of an out of position Mustafa Haydar Yalaz, making the score, 0-5. The supporters of Raaojen booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto George, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Mustafa Haydar Yalaz however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mustafa Haydar Yalaz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 72 minutes of play, Raaojen's Nildo Fernandes made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mustafa Haydar Yalaz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 81st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 83 played minutes Raaojen got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto George. 84 minutes into the match, Raaojen's goalkeeper Mustafa Haydar Yalaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 86thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raaojen's Mustafa Haydar Yalaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Raaojen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Mustafa Haydar Yalaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Felix Montenegro scored 1-7 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Haydar Yalaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
