Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Artemio Odol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sacando del Medio the free kick. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! Cristobal Kelemen placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 15 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's Artemio Odol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Odol, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Sacando del Medio got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristobal Kelemen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Odol's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes, Artemio Odol made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Artemio Odol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Artemio Odol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 5-0. Artemio Odol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artemio Odol was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artemio Odol went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's Artemio Odol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristobal Kelemen was slow to take the kick. During this time Sacando del Medio's players had a chance to rest. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Odol in the 65th minute of the match. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Artemio Odol made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 73 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's goalkeeper Bernardo Loren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Bernardo Loren didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 7-1. Artemio Odol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Sacando del Medio's Artemio Odol. But to his dismay, Artemio Odol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Artemio Odol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Artemio Odol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Odol in the 91st minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Sacando del Medio's Artemio Odol. But to his dismay, Artemio Odol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. There was no doubt that Sacando del Medio were the better team. Sacando del Medio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
