APOELHELLAS's Phaiakes Mitsinikos was substituted for Michel Santos. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Lykaon Belesis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Lykaon Belesis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phaiakes Mitsinikos in the 92nd minute of the match. Phaiakes Mitsinikos scored 3-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Phaiakes Mitsinikos struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for APOELHELLAS. There was no doubt that APOELHELLAS were the better team. APOELHELLAS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
